Auburn RFID Lab Tour

The  RFID Lab at Auburn University  is a research institute focusing on the business case and technical implementation of RFID and other emerging technologies in retail, aviation, supply chain, and manufacturing.

They are offering a facility tour and other educational content on Friday, April 25th, including transportation & lunch.  

You must be registered for one of the conferences before signing up.  Limited seats available.  The bus trip and ARC tour are complimentary. 

Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with additional priority given to members from our patron organizations and conference registrants staying at the Georgia Tech hotel.

The bus will leave for Auburn (approx. 8:30am) from the Georgia Tech Hotel and return (approx. 5:00pm).

Agenda-

  • 10:30am Central: Bus drops off attendees at the RFID Lab (1550 East Glenn Avenue, Auburn, AL 36830)
  • 10:30am-11:00am: Coffee and snacks
  • 11:00am-12:30pm: RFID Lab Tour- Student-led tour (with Dr. Senthil and Justin assist)
  • 12:30pm – 1:30pm: Lunch in Training Rooms at the RFID Lab (boxed lunches served) (Q&A with RFID Lab Team)
  • 1:30pm – 1:45pm: Load up buses to transport to the CARV Lab
  • 1:45pm – 2:15pm: Demo at AU’s CARV Lab
  • 2:15pm – 2:30pm: Load buses for Atlanta departure
  • 5:30 pm Eastern : Arrival back in Atlanta
